Your prescription

Kept requires a valid spectacle prescription to make your new lenses.

You can enter your prescription during the ordering process and, where available, upload a copy for us to check.

Please enter your prescription exactly as written by your optometrist.

Prescription checks

Every Kept order is manually checked before lenses are ordered.

If anything appears incomplete, unusual or inconsistent, we’ll contact you before proceeding.

PD and measurements

Some lens types require additional measurements such as pupillary distance (PD) or fitting measurements.

Where these are required, the ordering process will guide you through what information is needed.

If the measurements supplied are unsuitable or incomplete, we’ll contact you before manufacture.

Customer-supplied information

You are responsible for providing accurate prescription and measurement information.

If lenses are correctly manufactured to information supplied by you but that information was entered incorrectly, this would not normally be treated as a manufacturing fault.
